Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the moving and transport services provided by Suman Packers & Movers. By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms below. They are written in plain language because we believe terms should be understood, not just signed.

1. Quotations & Pricing

  • Quotations are free and provided in writing after a survey (physical or video) of your goods.
  • A written quotation is valid for 15 days and is honoured exactly — the price we quote is the price you pay, unless the goods volume, floor or access changes materially from what was surveyed.
  • GST (18%) is charged separately as per applicable law. Tolls, permits and parking charges on interstate routes are included in quoted transport price unless stated otherwise.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed against a reasonable advance; the balance is payable on delivery unless a corporate credit arrangement exists.
  • We accept bank transfer, UPI and cash with receipt.
  • Dates can be rescheduled free of charge with 48 hours' notice, subject to vehicle availability.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Declare all goods accurately during the survey; undeclared high-value items may not be covered by insurance.
  • Carry jewellery, cash, documents, keys and personal valuables with you — these are not transported by us.
  • Ensure parking/access permission at both addresses, and provide a responsible person at origin and destination.
  • Gas cylinders must be empty and are moved only by the customer, per safety regulations.

4. Liability & Insurance

  • We take every professional precaution — trained crews, multi-layer packing, sealed vehicles — and any transit damage must be reported at the time of delivery or within 48 hours with photographs.
  • Transit insurance is arranged at the customer's option (1.5%–3% of declared value) through reputed insurers; claim processing follows the insurer's survey and policy terms.
  • Our liability without opted insurance is limited to the carrier-risk terms stated in your written quotation.

5. Prohibited Goods

We do not transport hazardous, inflammable or illegal items (petrol, LPG cylinders, paints, explosives, contraband), live animals, plants or perishable food. Prohibited goods found packed will be removed from the consignment at origin.

6. Delivery Timelines

Delivery windows are given honestly in your quotation and confirmed before loading. While we plan for traffic, weather and route conditions, unforeseen events (roadblocks, natural disturbances, mechanical failure) may cause delays; in such cases your coordinator will keep you informed and rearrange delivery promptly.

7. Disputes & Jurisdiction

Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion with our team. Matters not resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
